Robyn is a 4th year student in the clinical psychology doctoral program at the University of Utah. Originally from the West Coast of Canada, she relocated to Salt Lake City for her graduate training and is enjoying the opportunity to explore a new set of mountains. Robyn received a B.S. in math and statistics from the University of Victoria and worked in a variety of industry positions before returning to school to study psychology.
Her research interests include behavioral manifestations of emotion dysregulation (e.g., substance use, self-harm, disordered eating) and the development of just-in-time interventions targeting these behaviors. Robyn has experience supporting adolescents in crisis through youthspace.ca, providing evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment services to young adults at the University of Utah Counseling Center, and conducting PTSD evaluations for veterans at the SLC VA. She welcomes the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
